Andrew Massie

Andrew Massie first joined the Cundill organization in 1984; his role was to assist in the daily operations of running the business, in 1993 he moved to the investment department as an investment analyst.  Currently Andrew is Senior Vice President, Investment Management and Portfolio Manager, Mackenzie Cundill Team, Vancouver.

Andrew is the lead-manager of Mackenzie Cundill Value Fund.

In 2005, Andrew completed the Canadian Investment Manager Program.

Lawrence Chin

Lawrence Chin joined the Cundill team in 1999 as an investment analyst. Presently, Lawrence is Senior Vice President, Investment Management, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Investments.

He was named co-manager of Mackenzie Cundill Canadian Security Fund in June 2008 and lead manager of the Fund in April 2009. Lawrence was also named lead manager of Mackenzie Cundill Canadian Balanced Fund in April 2009. From August 2007 to March 2009, Lawrence was the lead manager of Mackenzie Cundill American Class.

Lawrence graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BBA in Finance and Accounting (1999) and is a CFA charterholder (2002).

The portfolio managers specialize in geographic regions and work together to identify the best investment ideas. By finding value where others have missed it, they practise the proven deep value investment process synonymous with the Cundill name.
